Laura began with a simple curiosity about what acting classes would be like. She never thought that as a shy young lady she would come out on the other side of her EXCEL Academy experience with not only tons of industry involvement, countless memories, and many new friends, but she also found a new family.

When Laura started getting involved in EXCEL Academy’s programs as a shy young girl, Melissa and Summer took her in as their own and provided opportunities for her to shine. Through the program, Laura competed in New York and had great success.
What stood out to her most is that EXCEL Academy treated her like a person rather than a product. This gave her confidence to be herself in an industry that often demands compromise and conformity.
