ABOUT TASHA WARRIOR-POPE
Tasha was always beautiful and tall, often getting told she should try modeling as young girl. Though the idea appealed to her, she was unable to even imagine pursuing it because was painfully shy and lacked confidence. Taking courses with EXCEL not only helped her overcome those struggled, but taught her the skills she has used to succeed working with hair & make-up.

A Closer Look:
Tasha’s parents had begun to worry about their daughter. Her shyness was so severe that she would literally hide behind her mother1s skirt in social settings. While reading the newspaper one day, her father came across an ad about a program that could help boost confidence and equip students to EXCEL in life. His own battles with shyness motivated him to show it to his wife and they decided to give it a try.
They enrolled Tasha in EXCEL’s classes and hoped for the best.

Fast forward a few EXCEL classes later and Tasha’s parents were completely blown away when they proudly watched their previously timid daughter confidently walk a runway with her shoulders back and confidence.
They had always longed or her to recognize how much she has to offer and EXCEL helped her not only over come shyness, but gain the confidence to pursue her dreams, which started with modeling and then extended to hair and make-up.

Where are they now:
The exposure, experience, and skill development Tasha gained at EXCEL inspired her to to delve into the world of hair and make-up. She is currently one of the most successful cosmetologists and make-up artists in the Little Rock, Arkansas area.
In a full-circle, she is EXCEL’s make-up artist and hair stylist, who accompanies our team to New York for IMTA to help prep for auditions. She generously shares her knowledge and experience with students.
